Gayle Nathan

Gayle Nathan brings over three decades of legal experience to the families she serves — and a perspective that few attorneys can claim. Before joining Rosenblum Law, Gayle was elected to Nevada's Eighth Judicial District Court, Family Division, where she served as a judge for four years. That time on the bench gave her an invaluable window into how family court cases are evaluated, what judges look for, and how to present a client's situation most effectively — insight she now puts to work every day for the people she represents.

Licensed in Nevada since 1993, Gayle began her legal career running her own family law practice and later served as Managing Attorney at Bonanza Legal, a family law firm, for five years. Her path to law was anything but conventional: she earned a B.A. in English Literature and an M.S. in Special Education before earning her J.D. from Touro Law School in 1988. That background in education — including several years teaching children with autism — has made her especially attuned to families navigating custody disputes involving children with special needs.

Gayle is a certified mediator and has served as President of the ADR Section of the State Bar of Nevada. She is an active member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Nevada.

During her time on the bench, Gayle helped rework the Legal Aid Self-Help Forms and produced the educational video Putting Your Best Foot Forward in Family Court, designed to help self-represented litigants navigate the family court process.

Gayle has called Las Vegas home for years and raised her two children here. Outside the office, she's a practicing visual artist whose work has been shown and sold, and a published author of two novels — Bad Timing in Vegas and Immortal Wolf — as well as a short story, What's Happening Here. She loves Nevada for its mild winters, round-the-clock energy, and the unusually accessible legal community.
