What is the first book you remember reading?
The first book I remember reading is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, the first of the series. I was 7 years old and became hooked on the series thereafter.
What is at the top of your bucket list?
I’ve always been an adrenaline junkie. At the top of my bucket list right now is skydiving.
What is your favorite holiday destination?
Anywhere beachy and tropical. I never get tired of being a beach bum.
Who has left the most impact on your life?
My parents have had the most impact on my life. I am who I am because of their influence, and for that, I am forever grateful. I owe everything to them- my successes, my personality, my attitude toward life and others. I am beyond lucky to have such a strong and supportive family.
Are you more likely to avoid conflict or engage it head-on?
I’m not afraid of confrontation, so I would say that I engage in conflict head on. I would much rather talk about the problem, resolve it, and move on instead of avoiding conflict and dealing with passive aggressiveness.
Are you a good cook?
I’m an excellent cook, I just don’t cook very often (thank you, husband!) But when I do, I go all out- everything’s made from scratch and I end up making enough food to feed 10 people.
Do you have pets?
We have 2 dogs, 1 cat. My Siberian Husky thinks he is a 10 pound lap dog, and my cat is chubby, short and spoiled.
Who is the best teacher you’ve ever had?
The best teacher I ever had was my 3rd/4th grade teacher, Mr. Ecker. He was by far the most influential teacher for me, even though I was so young. Mr. Ecker was so unique, and he had a passion for teaching others. Rest in Paradise, Mr. Ecker.
